Being efficient is not, as much, about the bottom line as it is about the long haul. At Callies Welding and Fabrication, we obtain efficiency through communication, planning, compromise, and hard work. Our customers have deadlines and we meet them. Most of our large projects happen when the Columbia River irrigation systems are shut down for the winter: this is a small window to work in. We bring in substantial manpower, have savvy and experienced management, and are willing to adjust to changes without slowing down progress. Efficiency is beneficial to all involved and Callies takes pride in the ability to provide quality work in difficult circumstances.

Where We Are Heading
It is a balancing act to grow at a responsible and safe rate. The ebb and flow of construction work makes it very difficult. Callies desires to provide consistent high paying jobs to local workers, while being a valuable part of the Columbia Basin’s growing economy. Our long term goals are bold, but we are game.
Safety Standards
At Callies, we pride ourselves in our passion for safety. We believe that all accidents and incidents are preventable and avoidable. Our aim is to provide and oversee a safe and enjoyable worksite. This is accomplished through consistent training, proper PPE furnished by the company, and an open-door policy for employees to voice concerns. Callies values safety over speed. Fabrication is an inherently dangerous profession, but proper procedures put in place and practiced by workers can and does create a safe work environment. Callies employs daily safety meetings and is consistently searching for better, safer, and more efficient strategies. Safety standards cannot be dependent on the size of project, experience of the workforce, or who is observing. Having a safe job site is the way to do business because everyone is valued and must make it home to their families, injury free, every night.
About Us
Callies is a family owned company that strives for excellence in all aspects of pipe and miscellaneous metal fabrication. The company was established in 2010 by Kyle Callies along with his wife, Allynda, who were determined to create a friendly, productive, and, most importantly, safe work environment. Determination, hard work and good public relationships were all necessary components in starting and operating their successful business. We still operate the same way today. Without solid employees, valued customers, and sheer determination, Callies would not be the whole and well-rounded business it is today. Callies is always taking on and searching for the “hard and impossible projects” with tight deadlines and customers who will except nothing but the best: not searching for awards or public notoriety. At the end of the project, Callies is pleased from a project being a smooth operating system, whether it be a natural gas pipeline, water treatment plant or pipeline, or a simple bracket for someone in need of a favor. No matter how big our company grows, the customer and end user must feel that they were treated right, their project was the priority, and the product provided was nothing but the best.
